Size: Approximately 5mms long
Distribution: Found in most parts of the U.K.
Months seen: March to October
Food: Aphids
Habitat: Hedgerows and woodlands.
Special features: The wing casings can vary in colour from creamy-yellow to almost black. The spots tend to be more square than round.
